I had my first interview last Monday. It was quite intense and while I had been nervous, I found myself being put at ease and able to respond logically to all that happened. The outcome is straight forward I am to continue with the DDO for the next few months, working with him on discernment while all of the other necessities of administration and documentation are completed.
When asked what ministry - naturally the words NSM came out, rather than the long held OLM path. So NSM it is. A long way ahead, if it ever happens! For the moment I am content to rest and to pray and reflect, but some serious work starts soon.
This week has been about chasing all the stuff I did not think of getting together, Documentation etc, which has mean a round robin with Churches I have not been to in 50 years or more. But they have been considerate and helpful (I think) and have enabled me to make progress.
The path is long and winding (as the song goes) and I am unsure where God will take me, but it is really wonderful to be along for the ride.
God is Great.
